Broadcasting — Send Messages to Multiple Contacts

The broadcasting feature helps businesses and individuals reach their contacts faster. Whether you're a seller spreading a promotion, a school notifying parents about an event, or a support team sending updates — WA Web Plus lets you target the right people at the right time.

Before You Start

You'll need a message template. A template is a reusable message you prepare once and use across your campaigns. It can include text, images, videos, audio, or other media. Create your message templates before setting up a campaign.

Creating a Campaign

  1. 1.Click the WA Web Plus button in WhatsApp Web.
  2. 2.Navigate to the Broadcasting tab.
  3. 3.Click Add New — or clone an existing campaign to reuse its settings and targets without starting from scratch.
  4. 4.Give your campaign a name so you can identify it easily.
  5. 5.Choose the message template(s) you want to send. You can send all selected templates or let the extension randomly pick one per recipient.
  6. 6.Select your target contacts. You have several targeting options:
  • •Contacts — All contacts, All except selected, or Only selected contacts.
  • •Groups — All groups, All except selected, or Only selected groups.
  • •Labels — All labels, All except selected, or Only selected labels.
  • •Countries — All countries, All except selected, or Only selected countries.
  • •Custom List — Upload a CSV or Excel sheet, or paste numbers directly from your clipboard. The first column must always contain the phone numbers, with no header row in the sheet. You can choose whether the numbers are already in international format, or in local format — in which case the tool will ask you to select the country to automatically prefix them.
  1. 7.Configure your send settings:
  • •Send immediately, schedule for a future date and time, or save for later.
  • •Automatically repeat the campaign every day for a set number of days.
  • •Enable Respect Working Hours to pause the campaign outside your chosen time window and resume it automatically when the window opens again.
  1. 8.Optionally, configure post-send actions to run automatically after each message is delivered. If you need this feature, it's available in WA Toolbox. Available post-send actions include:
  • •Add labels to the chat
  • •Remove labels from the chat
  • •Archive the chat
  • •Delete the chat
  • •Block the user
  • •Add the user to a group
  • •Remove the user from a group
  • •Send event data to a webhook

Sending Interval

It's recommended to set an interval between messages. This reduces robotic-looking activity that could flag or restrict your WhatsApp account.

Cloning a Campaign

You can clone any existing campaign to quickly create a new one with the same settings and targets. This saves time when you need to run similar campaigns without rebuilding them from scratch.

How Many Campaigns Can I Save?

Your plan determines how many campaigns you can keep saved at once. You can always run unlimited sends — the limit only applies to saved campaigns in your account.

Broadcasting through WA Web Plus works within WhatsApp Web. We recommend using it responsibly and only messaging contacts who expect to hear from you. Please be aware that you are using this tool at your own discretion — any use that violates WhatsApp's terms of service is your own responsibility. We encourage you to follow WhatsApp's guidelines to keep your account in good standing.
