WA Web Plus ("we", "our", or "us") is a browser extension developed by Elbruz Technologies that enhances WhatsApp Web functionality. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being fully transparent about how data is handled.

WA Web Plus operates primarily within your browser and interacts with WhatsApp Web to provide additional features.
Some features process data locally on your device, while optional features may store or transmit data securely to our infrastructure.

- Email address (used for licensing, billing, and account identification)
2.2 WhatsApp Data (Processed via the Extension)
When using certain features, the extension may process:
- Message content (including deleted messages restoration)
- Media (images, videos, audio, documents, stickers)
- Contact names and phone numbers
- Chat metadata (timestamps, status, message type)
⚠️ This data is processed only to provide requested features, such as webhooks/API.

- Feature usage (e.g., broadcasts, automations)
- Extension settings and preferences
- Device/browser information (limited technical diagnostics)

- Webhook payloads

3. How We Use Data
We use collected data strictly for functionality:
- Enable core features (automation, broadcasting, restore messages)

- Manage subscriptions and licensing

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.
4. Local Processing vs Cloud Processing
Local Processing (Default)
Most features operate entirely within your browser. Data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Cloud Processing (Optional Features)
If you enable features such as synchronization, webhooks, CRM integrations, or campaign storage, then selected data may be securely transmitted and stored on our infrastructure.
5. Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored using secure infrastructure (e.g., Supabase)
- All communications use HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Access is restricted and protected by authentication controls
- Sensitive data is encrypted where applicable
6. Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary:
- Account data: while subscription is active
- Cloud-stored feature data: until deleted by user
- Logs/diagnostics: limited retention for security and debugging
Users may request deletion at any time.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your data.
We may share data only with trusted service providers:
- Payment processing (e.g., Paddle)
- Cloud infrastructure (e.g., Supabase)
These providers process data strictly on our behalf.
8. User Control & Rights

9. Chrome Extension Permissions
WA Web Plus requires certain permissions:
- activeTab: detect WhatsApp Web tab
- storage: save user settings
- identity: manage subscription login
- Host permissions: enable communication with backend services
Permissions are used strictly for functionality.
10. Sensitive Data Handling
WA Web Plus may process highly sensitive data (messages, contacts, media).
We guarantee:
- Data is never sold
- Data is never used for advertising
- Data is only used to deliver requested features
11. International Data Transfers
Your data may be processed on secure servers in different regions depending on infrastructure providers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
